several features. Using bar code and remote order entry technology,
ASAP will reduce your fastener inventory requirements while increasing
product availability, stock reliability, and quality level. Every
program is custom designed, drawing from these features, according
to the individual customer’s needs. |
Inventory Management |

time and money. Prevent inventory losses. Let us store, order, deliver
and restock your fasteners. Your products are stocked in our warehouse
in the quantities you need, with agreed upon safety margins, saving
you valuable storage space. We deliver and restock your fasteners
when you need them! On hand inventory is significantly reduced without
the need for constant re-purchasing or having stock-outs. We get to
know our customers and their needs. To meet those needs we develop
many types and variations of storage systems, bin labels, re-reorder
processes, delivery methods and safety margins. |

We
can help specify and install maximum efficiency storage equipment,
or make recommendations to improve an existing bin system. We will
label bins with descriptions, part numbers, locations, minimum reorder
quantities and bar codes, for use with our automated order taking
system, saving you time and labor costs.

Storage bin is labeled with a description,
part number, location, minimum reorder quantity and bar codes for
use with a portable bar code scanner. Bar code labels are one of the
keys to remote order entry and automatic order processing. |

The labels are scanned and the order information is transmitted
to our main computer system, bypassing the order entry process.
We have developed a cross reference data base system that will store
our part number, your part number, a five digit line item number,
min/max quantities, usage, pricing and more. This cross-reference
data base makes inventory management, usage and sales reports available.
The database also provides information for customized bar coded
bin labels and product package labels. Our database makes remote
order entry a breeze!

Our trained staff can review any
fastener application to see if we can lower your cost and/or improve
quality. Sometimes this is as simple as finding ways to consolidate
usage, or analyzing your fastener selection. Consolidation eliminates
unnecessary parts, reduces inventory management and increases the
total quantity of the used parts, which can lower the purchase price. |

Most often the best solution involves an in depth review of the
application to find ways to use fewer fasteners. Fewer fasteners
means less labor. Even if the recommended fastener has a higher
purchase price, the installed overall cost can be dramatically reduced.
